Rooted in the Central Coast.
Built to endure.

SloIvy is a development and design studio in San Luis Obispo — four integrated practices shaping how the Central Coast is built, kept, and lived in.

The Studio

Ivy doesn’t rush. It takes hold, then outlasts everything around it.

We develop, design, and build on California’s Central Coast — and we hold what we build. One studio carries a project from raw site to finished room: land and feasibility, residential and building design, construction of our own developments, and interiors down to the last fixture.

That continuity is the point. Nothing is handed off, and nothing is anyone else’s problem. It is a slower way to work, and it shows.

About the studio
Why Ivy

Patient by design.

Ivy is structural. It roots where it stands, grows in every season, and holds long after quicker things have come and gone. We named the studio for the way we intend to work on the Central Coast: acquire carefully, build properly, and stay.

Rooted
Local by choice — San Luis Obispo is home, not a market entry.
Integrated
Development, design, construction, and interiors under one roof.
Enduring
We hold what we build, so we build for the long term.

Where we work

The Central Coast, specifically.

San Luis Obispo. Edna Valley. Avila Beach. Shell Beach. Morro Bay. Paso Robles. We work where we live, on terrain we know by season — oak savanna hills, vineyard rows in morning fog, and a coastline that forgives nothing built carelessly.

Local knowledge is not a marketing line here. It is the difference between a building that fights this landscape and one that belongs to it.

The development practice
Working together

Building or furnishing on the Central Coast?

We take on few projects and give them everything. Vendor and showroom partners, our procurement practice is always open to a conversation.
